My colleague asked.
"How's your feeling on the first day being the captain?"
Should I take it as a compliment or as an insult?
Well it's not the best part actually
The only best thing is that, I'm controlling the schedule *wink2*
Approaching the end of my 2nd month of HOship
Am I capable of treating my patients very well?
That's always be the question playing around my mind
Hopefully, my efforts are accountable eventhough not much insyaAllah
May Allah SWT bless all of us
November 2, 2013
Entering my 2nd month of working life
But ouchh will be sitting for my viva end of this month
Have to prepare from now then, no choice
There is one MO here
They said he's the most scary one
I strongly refused to do round with him when I first entered that ward
The first time I encountered him was when I introduced myself as a new houseman
But one day, I did not know where on earth he then came to my cubicle and did round
And know what, he IS really niceeeee actually!!
So soft spoken.
Teaching me alot.
I even got a piece of advice from him
"Everyday try to learn new things.Always ask yourself, do you competent enough to be a medical MO once you leave this posting? We are training you to become a good doctor so that if you're thrown away to district hospital and you dont have any senior MO or specialist to consult to, you can act on your own without do harm to the patient. Everytime you admit patient, aim to discharge also. It drives you to treat them properly. As a doctor, your patients are your priority. I tell you this because I want you to become a competent doctor. You are a fresh graduate, first poster, so you have many space and time to improve yourself. Believe me, if you trained yourself from now, I'm sure you will become a good doctor."
And I'm getting fall in love with my profession now
*there is another story of another MO also.will write on that next time when there is next time :p
